Denis Forest was born September 5, 1960 in Ottawa.

He speaks fluently French and English with soft accent.

His name is pronounced "Denee Foray".

Denis liked all types of music such as British band Radiohead, Japanese DJ Krush. And he really liked Pink Froyd. When he did ski, he would listen to Pink Floyd.

He used to work in the tour boat as a teenager. It's called 'Paul's Boat Lines Ltd' and runs tour boats on the Ottawa River and Rideau Canal. Denis first started selling tickets as a young teenager, and then he used to drive the Boats on the Rideau Canal.

Denis was a FREESTYLE SKIER before he became an Actor and was very good. He was one of the original Canadian Hot Dogger skiers...when the sport was just beginning.

Denis was called "BURT" because he had Burt Bindings on his K2 skies.

He skiied with the many legendary Canadian skiers that used to do all those tricks in the James Bond movies, including Mike Nemensvary, he's denis' friend.

After Denis graduated from High School, he went to acting school in Toronto, Ryerson Theatre School.

He did not drink any alcohol, he did not smoke any cigarettes, he did not do drugs... Denis was really healthy guy.

Denis wrote two scripts of "Blind Spot" and "Into the Fire".

Denis was a talented Fine Artist (Painter, Sculptor, Installation Artist) as well as a great actor.

His paintings and sculptures have been exhibited in many galleries and venues and won acclaim. Denis will be praised as an fine artist for ever.

HIS FRIEND PAULA TOLD ME ABOUT HIS DEATH .....

One year before Denis died, he lost his mother and his sister.

Denis' sister died from the same heart problem that took Denis one year later.

I heard that the last thing he said as he had the heart pain in his chest after his dinner engagement and they were on the way to a hospital I think? was he said "oh no..."
I believe he was horrified too...because I think he knew at the time of his heart pain, that it was the same thing his sister had died from...

At his Funeral in Ottawa, I spoke a Eulogy...and I was very honoured by his family to have been asked to speak at Denis funeral...it was very hard for me...as I did say ...'you told me Denis that you would see me in the spring, but i didn't think it would be in this way'...
